Hull and Steering

Our new custom formulated material no longer absorbs water. The cell structure is extremely fine and dense. Although the weight per cubic foot is roughly the same, the material is softer to allow the hood to sink in slightly and prevents side-to-side motion when performing barrel rolls. The material has no adhesive backing, so it can be attached with contact cement (we recommend carpet seam and tack strip adhesive) or super glue. This material is many times more durable then our original seal and testing by several freeriders has confirmed it.

The SATO steering nozzle is a fine piece of engineering. As it arrives from Japan, it allows for up to ten degrees of up-tilt for freestyle or back flips. For an additional charge, we can supply a matching 1/4" thick stainless adjusting plate for the bottom and matching hardware to accept it. This will allow you to tilt the nozzle down for less porpoising and better steering action.

Our Tuff Thrust bearing kit consists of a special type of plastic (not Nylon or Teflon) and a 316 stainless center piece. This system has been tested for over two years and found to be the answer to ridding your steering system of the plain carbon steel thrust bearing which rusts and disintegrates with any water intrusion.
