Hood Seal System - Material Upgraded!

Our new custom formulated material no longer absorbs water. The cell structure is extremely fine and dense. Although the weight per cubic foot is roughly the same, the material is softer to allow the hood to sink in slightly and prevents side-to-side motion when performing barrel rolls. The material has no adhesive backing, so it can be attached with contact cement (we recommend carpet seam and tack strip adhesive) or super glue. This material is many times more durable then our original seal and testing by several freeriders has confirmed it. Best of all, the price has been reduced $5.00!

With the new gasket system in place, the hood is held solidly in alignment. No water will get past it. You will feel the gasket "crush" as you snap the hood latch down, and the latch will no longer have a loose feel. The material will always spring back to it's original shape! "Freestyle Tested" kit includes top and bottom materials and complete, detailed instructions! Installation time approximately 45 minutes.

We highly recommend upgrading the flimsy stamped stainless steel hood receptor parts with 24-7 or similar pieces. The use of their very well engineered receptors will ensure a good crush into the seal and prevent the hood from moving rearward. We are also partial to the 24-7 replacement rear latch piece since it is designed to pull the hood down a bit tighter. We would consider these parts a must for heavy freestyle work, regardless of seal type.
